Tomorrow marks the start of the Royal Life Saving Society’s (RLSS) annual Drowning Prevention Week. More than 700 people drown in the UK & Ireland every year, with many more non-fatal experiences which sometimes result in life-changing injuries. The RLSS work tirelessly to educate people to enjoy water safely, keeping their friends & families safe, and knowing what to do in an emergency. We will be posting water safety advice everyday from the 12th-19th June to help keep you & your family safe in & around water
