Our Little Fins team was excited to sponsor a Surf and Turf dinner to support the local Elks Lodge #309 in March. We volunteered, cooked, served, and sold merch to help support the lodge, who was hard hit by COVID-19. Even with the hit the Elks took, the lodges continues giving back to the community in so many ways! The Elks is a huge supporter of many local children's programs, clubs, youth sports and the Children's Hospital Colorado. We were thrilled to serve 150 steak and shrimp dinners as a fundraiser!

Can your 14 month old save themselves if they fall into a body of water?? Parker can!!!! This sweet girl passed her Starfish Level with Ms. Jill and they are so happy! Parker loves her playtime and now will start working on some kicks and exit strategies.

Ellie Jo passing her Sea Lion level with Ms. Lexi was a moment to remember! She showed such amazing progress in a short amount of time; she overcame her nerves and passed TWO levels in a matter of FOUR lessons (which means she can save herself in a water accident AND swim and climb out to safety)! Vivii was the ultimate Swimasaurous and showed back stroke skills that would impress anyone! She earned her Guppy medal from Ms. Kory and has been working SO hard on getting her bubbles and kicks in proper order to pass another level. Great job, sweet Vivii!!!

Watch out for the Mack-Attack!!!! Mack passed his Sea Lion level and was awarded a medal from Ms. Lexi. This wiggle worm loves to tread and move his arms in the water, which will be perfect for learning strokes in the next swim levels. Great job, Mack!

Welcome Back to Little Fins! We hope this video helps you to become acclimated to the new social distancing procedures as you come back to swim lessons at Little Fins Swim School, re-opening May 1, 2020. New Precautions and Social Distancing Protocols... - We are limiting the number of people in our buildings - We will have 2 lessons at a time per pool - Instructors and swimmers will not be required to wear masks while in the pools, due to wet masks making it hard to breathe. Changes to keep our facilities, instructors, and swimmers safe: - We ask that one (1) responsible adult per swimmer accompanies each swimmer in the building. - No siblings or other children will be permitted in the building without a lesson. Children with back-to-back lessons may wait with the adult while their sibling’s swim lesson is in progress. - Only one (1) swimmer per instructor will be permitted in the pool, with a maximum of 2 instructors in each pool at a time. Swimmers must exit the pool immediately following their lesson. No one will be permitted in the pool unless he/she is in a lesson. No open/free swim times are available. - Please remain 6 feet apart at all times while in our facilities. We have plenty of socially distanced seating available to prevent close contact with others. - The Governor’s order requires all adults to wear a face mask and maintain social distance in all businesses. (Little Fins does not provide face masks.) - No sick/ill people will be allowed in our facilities. Please reschedule your lesson if the adult bringing the child or the child is sick/ill. $10 reschedule fee will be waived for sick/ill rescheduled lessons, if notification is done before the missed lesson time. Please give us as much notice as possible by texting or leaving a voicemail. Arrival and Departure Procedures: - If possible, arrive ready to swim. Please do not come in earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled lesson. - At Union location you will be greeted at the door by a Deck Manager, who will assist you in finding your instructor, located in one of the 4 pool quadrants. At Garden of the Gods, with only 2 instructors, you will find your instructor and begin lessons at your scheduled lesson time. - Swimmers must exit the pool immediately following the lesson. Please promptly speak with your instructor and remove your child from the pool, so the next swimmer can enter the pool. - Please quickly dress/change your child in the locker room, while following safe social distancing procedures, and exit promptly. All common areas and changing stations are sanitized regularly. We are extending schedules and available swim times in order to maintain our new precautions and social distancing protocols. Did you know success looked this cute?!? Henrik put in A WHOLE LOT of hard work to be able to pass his water safety level with Ms. Kory. There were lessons full of tears, silence, and challenges. Now, Henrik and Ms. Kory spend their lessons giggling, swimming, and celebrating his amazing progress! He has been doing so well and just continues to improve on his skills each week.

If this isn’t just the cutest lil’ starfish you’ve ever seen.... Andrew and Ms. Alyssa worked hard to master his recovery skills in the water, and it sure paid off! He passed his Starfish Level and is now water safe! Great job, Andrew!!!
