Locating a broken skimmer line with the use of a camera for a precise locate of the pipe break. As you can see, the pipe is broken directly in half and was not holding any pressure or giving any type of auditory noises while using traditional equipment. This pipe was also located approximately 30 ft from where it should have been, and on top of retaining wall, but the new pipe had been installed before the homeowner purchased the house so there was no further information. The pipe was located higher then the water level so there was never any water build up or water loss within the pool.

A customer complaining of a leak ever since a liner was installed by another company 3 years ago was successfully located. Seen here is a lower track of a buddy seat in the deep end of a pool. Noticeable is the lack of liner between the lower molding gasket and disappears in the highlighted spot. Below the molding in the reflection of the mirror you are able to see a small ripped section of liner creating a water leak of 1 inch per day.

Looking deep into a 1/4 inch pipe of an aerator system for a gunite spa that was built within the coping surrounding it. We used the smallest camera we have that's about about 7mm in width to visually see these cracks within a very small pipe. Both aerator pipes within the spa have been cracked due to settling of the coping. This hidden leak was causing a 1-inch water loss per day.

A customer was referred to us by an awesome pool company to precisely locate the issue within the hidden underground pipes due to a low flow situation, and 2 pool jets that had no flow. This is an image inside of a pressure pipe underground that should look perfectly round. But over the years it has lost it's integrity and collapsed restricting the flow of water back to the pool jets. We were successfully able to pinpoint this location within inches allowing for a section of approximately 4 ft of new pipe to be installed under the dirt, rather than running a new line through the dirt and under concrete, saving the customer an unneeded expense.

This is an example of flex pipe disintegration caused by putting chlorine tablets in the skimmer boxes. Never put chlorine tablets directly into your skimmer box! Imagine throwing a gallon of chlorine onto your beautiful wood floors and leaving it there for several months. That's what's happening to your pipes when you put chlorine tablets in the skimmer box. Most people don't realize that flex line is wood based, so placing chlorine tablets in direct contact with this pipe for a prolonged period of time is going to eat away at the pipe until it disintegrates completely as shown in the picture.

Gunite pools are strong, but sometimes cracks can appear. Small, thin, hairline cracks are are sometimes visible in pools, but large ones such as the one seen below can create a large leak. The below pool crack was repaired by different pool company in the past and they did not inform the customer it was only a temporary repair. As it appears the crack has grown worse over time because of the incorrect repair method. Once we located all the leaks within the pool we were able to help point the customer to the correct company to permanently repair this crack issue that was causing a very large leak alone.

After completing a locating service on the broken pipe, it was discovered that an incorrect black elbow was used when the pool was initially built. An example of a incorrect shortcut that some builders use on pool lines which eventually fail over time.
